Analyzer. The Performer
Analyzer is a comprehensive test solution for monitoring and
troubleshooting LAN, WAN, ATM, Packet over Sonet and Metro technologies at
up to 2.48 Gbps OC-48 rates. A
high-performance, high-port density test solution, the Performer Analyzer
expedites product-to-market cycles and network troubleshooting processes.
Unique features include the GEAR and the GenFEP (generic front-end
processor). The GEAR, a
proprietary, full custom ASIC chip-based
processor, powers the Performer Analyzer’s full line rate processing and
filtering capabilities. The GenFEP, a protocol, technology and rate
independent hardware solution, supports a wide range of multi-port line
interface modules. The total solution provides customers with a strong return on
investment.
The Performer Analyzer is a powerful and intuitive
tool for monitoring network efficiency and for conducting session-level
analysis of applications and services. Its distributed model supports
remote access thereby optimizing customer usage opportunity. It offers easy to use scripting tools for automated testing.
Using GPS or NTP (Network Time Protocol), it provides accurate and
time-dependent measurements among several units in a lab environment or
across remote sites.
